All strings
are made in the Mexico factory. Not much more to say
about it than that.
This
machine puts the ball ends on the stings. The strings
come as a spool of wire.
Here is

This
machine puts the wrap on the wire to complete a wound string.
This machine could initially run only at a specified speed.
The Mexican engineers designed computer controls that allow
it to run faster under certain conditions, and still keep the
wrap quality up.
A closer
view.
Eventually the Mexican
engineers designed and built their own wrap machines.
Here is a small offset
press used to print the string packages.
Here Bass strings are
being wound.
Strings are then put
in the individual envelopes, and divided into sets.
